Get ready for one of the most festive nights of the year! Families will fill Marine View Drive for safe trick-or-treating, music, and Halloween fun. Local businesses, community groups, and volunteers will line the path with candy, costumes, and smiles. Bring your little ghosts and goblins and enjoy a spooktacular evening of community spirit!

TRICK OR TREAT FUN!
From 4:30–6:30 PM, trick-or-treating will take place along Marine View Drive South from 216th to 227th, where businesses, clubs, and local organizations will be stationed on both sides of the street handing out goodies. Friendly volunteers will serve as crossing guards throughout the route to help everyone cross safely and keep the fun flowing.

Businesses, organizations, and volunteers come together to hand out treats and spread cheer — creating a fun and safe evening for kids and families throughout the community.

Looking for a fun and engaging way to connect with local families? Join us for one of Des Moines’ favorite fall traditions — the Des Moines Trick-or-Treat Path!
Businesses, organizations, and community groups are invited to set up along Marine View Drive South to hand out candy, giveaways, or small treats to the costumed kids and families who fill the street for this free community event.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase your business, meet community members face-to-face, and be part of a magical Halloween evening in the heart of Des Moines. Spots are limited, so don’t wait — sign up today to reserve your treat station!
WHAT TO KNOW

Bring enough candy or treats for 1,000–2,000 trick-or-treaters.

Plan to arrive by 4:00 PM to set up so your station is ready for the 4:30 PM start.

Dress up and decorate! Creativity and costumes are highly encouraged.

Have at least one or two people to staff your station for the entire event.

Please bring your own table, chairs, and decorations (none will be provided).
